Footsteps
The paths we’ve walked in awe, memory, quiet joy, and discovery.
My Philosophy on Travel
Travel means different things to different people — but to me, it is, first and foremost, about surrender.
Surrendering yourself to a new country or city. To its people, its culture, its eating habits, and its everyday rhythm.
It’s about not craving home food, but daring to try what’s unfamiliar.
It’s about embracing the unknown conversing with strangers, navigating public transport, staying in places that don’t always feel predictable.
It’s about finding where the locals eat, walking the streets at night and feeling how the city lives and breathes.
It’s about stepping into grocery stores and supermarkets, not for souvenirs, but to understand how people live — what they buy, what they consume, what they value.
It’s about culture and history, yes — but more than that, it’s about how a place makes you feel.
Seeing people go about their lives. Watching the mundane become moving.
Travel isn’t about finding the comforts of home — it’s about discovering who you are without them.
I don't map cities, I collect feelings.
